I see what you mean - presumably the idea of a media event staged by the villain being attended by Bond and his allies? I'm hopeful that it will be handled more tastefully than the equivalent scene in DIE ANOTHER DAY though

Even if Mathis is an ally, I wouldn't mind a verbal confrontation between him and Bond. After the events of Casino Royale, I think there will be some bad blood between the two and I think an argument will bring Bond's arrogance come to light in an interesting way. I say... Bring it on!

Not sure we need the spoiler tags if we're in the spoiler forum!

The fact that Medrano and Mathis are standing together at the event perhaps suggests to me that Mathis could be working undercover for MI6 having infiltrated Medrano's organisation maybe. This may be the way for him to redeem himself after the events of CASINO ROYALE.

Could also suggest that Medrano may be a good guy of sorts?

Yeah, it's kind of like 'best case scenario - Medrano's a good guy in the end, worst case scenario - Mathis turns bad'.

One new image from the set

That's where Bond and Greene will meet, as that extra said in his blog.

Shooting began at 7.00 pm and had almost 25 takes (3-4 minutes between each one). This confirms what that guy's said about Mathieu Amalric having some troubles with his lines.

From what I've read on other source, Greene had his girlfriend by his side (Olga? a new female?)

It seems that today they will shoot a scene involving some stunts in Panama, and the Bond team has to pay about 16,000$ after burning accidentaly two sound displays (sorry, I don't know the correct word for the machine used).

Does ERNIE CUREO still post here? His write-ups of his time as an extra on CASINO ROYALE were outstanding - far more indepth than what we're getting here. (Not to knock this girl's posts.)

Doesn't look like much in these snapshots, but with a little movie magic I think this location will appear far more interesting...

A once in a lift time opportunity and…

Moan, moan, moan, try to sound smart, fail, moan, moan, moan, moan, try to sound smart again, fail again, moan, moan, moan…

Christ I’m glad I don’t know this woman.

Moan, moan, moan, try to sound smart, fail, moan, moan, moan, moan, try to sound smart again, fail again, moan, moan, moan…

Christ I’m glad I don’t know this woman.

Don't forget this part:

I had to hold my heels, complaint, moan, moan, moan, joke attempt, not funny, outer space, moan, moan, alien, my heels, moan, moan, alien...

Oh yes, how could I forget that?

And then there was

Moan, moan, moan, moan, I agreed to work as an extra needed all night, moan, moan, moan, moan, moan, notice that this involves me working through the night, heavens above! moan, moan, moan, moan, wonder why none of the actors want to speak to me, moan, moan, moan, notice that nobody wants to speak to me, moan, moan, moan, wonder why someone is snoring in my company, moan, moan, moan, did I mention aliens? Moan, moan, moan, moan, moan, moan, moan…
