I've just ordered two books Bond books from a UK site and I skipped the Q biography book for now.

Has anyone else bought/read this book, I was wondering what your opinions of it where? Is it mainly based upon the acting experiences of DL as Q?

I'll probably buy that book next, Incase anyone's interested the two books I ordered where 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and 'Licence to Thrill'

Anyone got any opinions on the other two?

Is this the same Biographaphy, that Desmond was killed after a signing session, whilst promoting it?

The book is a decent read, but it's not
just about Desmonds role as Q. The book
is his entire life story. The Bond references could have been more in-depth,
but perhaps this would have been a follow on book ?

Licence to thrill is an excellent examination of the lierary character and film character of 007. It also delves into how Bond has changed throughout the years as far as filmmaking goes and politics. A great read.

Also an excellent read in For My Eyes Only by John Glen. A terrific biography of the man who brought us 5 007 films. A must read for any Bond fan, in my opinion.

Haven't read Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, so I have no opinion on that one!
