FORMER BOND STAR HOT MUSIC VIDEO PROPERTY
Hollywood, California
Pierce Brosnan, shooting on the set of the new Blink 182 video for the band's cover of the Jimmy Buffet song Margaritaville, says he's been "busy as a Tory at a round-up" since being given his walking papers from the Bond movie franchise. "As soon as this shoot wraps, I'm off to appear in Green Day's Secret Agent Man video, then I get to dance in a gangsta rap video, and I'll be a guest judge on American Idol. I'm up to my neck in it, mate," says the 54-year-old. "I haven't been this busy since episodic American TV."

Bond stardom keep fallin' on my head
And that's why I wear this fat hat and my feet's too big for this bed
Nothin' seems to fit, EON
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
So I just did me some talkin' to my agent
And I said I didn't like the way EON got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'
But there's one thing I know
The blues EON sent to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me
[trumpet]
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'

It can now be revealed that Daniel Craig's debut as 007 was not the first time the Broccolis tried to bring Fleming's first Bond novel to the screen. The first attempt fell apart midway through production when Pierce Brosnan's ego went too far and he insisted that he wear a large hat and smoke during the torture scene. "The hat really helps to peel back the layers," said the former Bond actor.

Whilst the studio was interested to see the "new direction" Pierce promised to take with The Thomas Crown Affair 2, they began to worry when they saw footage of the opening scene that features Crown trying to steal priceless Cubist art from a museum.
