As I said upthread, Craig has dropped some serious hints about the car having gadgets this time around.

TOMORROW NEVER DIES' remains a classic in an otherwise disappointing Bond flick.

It's an entertaining action sequence, but I don't think there's anything really classic about it all.

The gadgets, though, should stay out of the car chases, if the film happens to have one, and those sequences should rely solely on Bond's driving skills rather than on what Q branch has come up with back in the labs.

Indeed. We had plenty of gadget-laden car chases in the Brosnan era, and we even got one in Dalton's. At this point, I think a car chase relying on driving maneuvers would actually be more exciting.

If the car does have some new extras, as Craig indicates, I hope they're actually practical (not the sort of "rockets behind the headlights" stuff) and aren't really a feature in the car chase. Given that his Aston DBS is a new model than the one he wrecked in CASINO ROYALE, it makes sense that it would be outfitted in a slightly different way.
