I'm selling the MOONRAKER SPACESHIP 1/144 MODEL KIT made by Airfix in 1979 for $80, including shipping (registered air mail). Complete and unassembled. Excellent condition, too.

Also have the following:

OCTOPUSSY ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK CD - $60
> Original 1983 CD release on the A&M label (394 967-2), long out of print. Mint.

THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS MOVIE POSTER NECKTIE - $40
> Made by Ralph Marlin. Features reproduction of the film's "legs" poster artwork. New, never worn.

DIE AKTE JAMES BOND by Michael Petzel & Manfred Hobsch (2002) - $45
> Impressive 348-page German book on the Bond films, printed on high-quality paper, with lots of rare & never-before-seen colour photos taken by film journalist Erich Kocian (author of the "Die James Bond Filme" paperback published by Wilhelm Heyne of Munich in 1982) on location during the filming of the Sean Connery 007 films. A real gem. Mint.

Could you post an example of one of the rare photos from the German book?

I remember seeing an image in 1979 of a variation of the Moonraker poster that has Bond in a spacesuit, but instead of holding a raygun in the classic pose he is instead holding a shuttle in one hand and a tube of glue in the other. Is this image on the box bt any chance, zerozerosette?

BTW, welcome to CBn!

I shall do so, Saint - as soon as my sister lends me her digital camera, which is what I used some time ago to photograph a bunch of Bond items I put up for sale elsewhere in this forum.

Won't take long, I hope!

Hi Cat

I can't see the image you're describing on the box of the Moonraker kit I'm selling, nor can it be found somewhere inside the box. Sorry.

Thanks for the feedback. No, it's not the one I'm thinking of. Now that I ponder on it more I think the image I'm referring to is on the cover of a mag of some sort. Might even have it somewhere.

I remember seeing that picture, it was a spoof cover of (I think) New Scientist, I don't think (although I may be wrong) it actually appeared as such. Although I don't have the wherewithal to post a copy yet, I know I have this image somewhere in my collection.

New Scientist! I think you're right, Mark Hazard. And I'm sure I have it somewhere!

Here at last are a few sample pictures from the German book I'm selling... Sorry about the quality of these photos... I had to keep the book open with one hand and pressing the shutter with the other, you see.
