If she wasn't older (46) than Craig, I'd want her back in the role in Bond 22.

She absolutely loved being Moneypenny, and this came across in all her interviews. I think it's fair to say that she had a ball. Plus she had a bit of a crush on Brosnan, which made the job even more enjoyable for her.

And while I love Lois Maxwell as Jane Moneypenny (admittedly the definitive version), Samantha Bond is my favorite MI6 secretary. I missed her in Casino Royale.

Why does it matter that she's older than Craig?
Given all the younger women he's going to have around him perhaps a more "mature" Moneypenny wouldn't be a bad thing.

I always really liked her as Moneypenny, but have to say I would have a problem with her age. If she was still around shed be 50 in another movie or two. Judy Dench is enough mature woman for a Bond film. Dont want to go back to the old days of AVTAK where Bond's visits to MI6 looked like a retirement village.

it's always great when someone has a true passion for a role... and she clearly loved being part of the Bond canon...
Agreed. Another one is Caterina Murino (Solange in CR) who absolutely LOVED playing a Bond girl, and is still loving being one!
