Nope--no confirmation on her yet.Just read where Forster had confirmed Arterton...or thought I had, it's confusing.
Hopefully we'll all know soon enough...

I think Leiter will only be in Panama, in a similar size role to in Casino Royale. I like the character, but I don't necessarily want him in all the Craig Bond films.

That aside, I feel very, very sorry for the people that did not enjoy CR. They will most likely be disappointed with the whole Craig era.

Agreed. CR was a disappointment, IMO, and Bond 22 and Bond 23 will most likely follow that trend.
I think that I'll make this my last post in the Bond 22 forum, as it is a film that I have no intention of seeing...

Well that appears to be a fairly nondescript London apartment building. I wonder what the Bond producers are wanting this to be used for? Perhaps Bond's home...Rumor on another forum is that Daniel Craig will be filming today at an apartment building called The Water Gardens.

Thanks, just checked that out. Also discovered that there is another more modern development, also called The Water Gardens, at the Surrey Quays in Canada Water. Are we sure that the filming is at the Burwood Place location?Maybe; if you have a look on Google maps you can see it has a nice set of modernist Water Gardens between the tower blocks.

Hmmm interesting idea, but it seems unlikely, it looks like a Coucil Estate, the exact opposite of Bond would live.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. It is my hope that the tabloids will have picked up on the fact that Daniel Craig is out shooting BOND 22 on the streets of London and get a photographer down there. Hopefully some photos may turn up in the morning papers!Well the guy on ajb said Burwood Place W2 and got the name of the flats wrong (he said Waterfall) so I'm more inclined to believe it's the W2 one. Also because Surrey Quays is a bit naff and not very cinematic London. Also discovered that there is another more modern development, also called The Water Gardens, at the Surrey Quays in Canada Water. It has been confirmed that Arterton is in Bond 22 though not the extent of her involvement.

As much as I enjoyed Wright as Leiter -- I confess to being a fan of both -- I was kind of hoping he might "sit this one out" and return in the third Craig film. My concern is that he's simply being chucked into the mix for the sake of "continuity", rather than a logical inclusion based on the plot. I hope he rates a larger part in this one -- and we get to see some Bond/Leiter bonding moments...
I don't agree that he's just being thrown in for continuity. Remember his role in CR ended on something of a loose end. He was supposed to take Le Chiffre into custody... but then he just disappeared.
I don't get that feeling either. I think that they're bringing Leiter back because they have a terrific actor in the part with Jeffrey Wright, and to not include an actor of that quality when you have the chance to wouldn't be the right way to go.

If they shoot on Saturdays, then I think they may be at Pinewood. I was actually quite surprised to see them out on location in London so soon. It was my previous belief that they liked to get some studio scenes shot first to ease everyone into the production. As far as we know, is Panama to be the first overseas shooting location?I wonder what the team are up to today!
