On another note, considering the spectacular deaths of Bond villains over the years, you have to think Le Chiffre got off rather easy, didn't he?

As did Kristatos.

As did General Koskov, now that I think about it.

I'm going with Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies. Those giant augers would dig-in something fierce!

Gotta say Dr. No... boiled to death must suck.

Understatement of the year! :D

It can't be good for anyone. :P

In the books, Mr. Big is blown off his ship into the water, and survives that only to be eaten by sharks. Doctor No being suffoccated under bird dung doesn't sound too fun either.
But alas, I stray... this is a topic about film villains. Yes, I'd say Carver had it bad. Just watching those blades coming at you would be horrible enough!

No one's mentioned Kananga / Mr. Big yet. I can't imagine being inflated and then popped like a balloon could feel very comfortable.

Whitaker only got whacked on the head by a bust of the Duke of Wellington, so he got off easy, too. :D

Kilroy6644 mentioned Kananga on the first page.

Ah, I stand corrected. I see he's been mentioned a couple times, not sure how I missed that.

Probably didn't deserve a spectacular death being the weak villain that he is.

Zao's death was pretty messy, getting a crystal chandelier falling on top of him.

What about Miranda Frost? Getting impaled by a copy of The Art of War is no laughing matter. :D

Mr. Kil received a mouthful, as Jinx would say. Quite nasty.

Stamper's demise would be terrible. A very heavy weight dropped on to his feet pinning him down and then knifed in the stomach and arm, then finally blown sky high.

Renard!

:D

Hopefully that would have been a quick way to go.

Plus, Renard had the considerable benefit of feeling no pain!

Carver's death looked painful. Imagine being shredded to pieces. Ouch.

Carver's and Alec's would have been painful.

For minor villains - anyone killed by a shark or piranha fish would have had a painful end.
