Well, you know what they say: "Never bring a knife to a gunfight."
He brings a knife you bring a gun, he sends one of yours to the hospital you send one of his to the morgue!

That's life on SPECTRE Island, I'm sure.

Curiously, I once heard an off-duty police officer site the corollary, "Never bring a gun to a knife fight."Well, you know what they say: "Never bring a knife to a gunfight."
I'd actually like to see Bond in a knife fight. For one thing, there's a long tradition of knife fighting training in British special operations history (at least back to the second World War). For another, knife fighting can be very surprising, fluid or abrupt, leaving a lot of room for a fight choreographer to come up with something truly novel. Additionally, knife fights have a high degree of danger for all participants. It's not unusual for all opponents to be wounded. If the fight is run realistically, this additional element adds additional risk and drama to the fight.

A knife fight, if done properly, could become my new favorite fight scene in Bond history. I'd love to see what they could do with a knife fight if given some CR-style choreography.

A knife fight is frenetic, deadly, and one thing is guaranteed: No-one walks away without cuts. I wouldn't mind seeing Bond in one at all, especially Craig, if only to see Bond have to get sliced a little before winning.

Hmmmm, perhaps he can gain that cheek scar the novels describe him as having in the midst of one...
