We see Koskov "defect" to the British by going into a men's room and then out the window. Later, Bond goes into a rest room while checking out the rifle used in the phony assassination attempt.
Thankfully, neithe Koskov nor Bond encounters someone with a "wide stance" during either sequence. Still, it's like both scenes draw attention to themselves.

Well, there is someone named Craig in the Casino Royale one...

As we said in 80s, that was grody to the max.

I'm sure alot of spy/drug transactions occur in rest rooms. It seems a practical place to do dirty business.
Plus, if you under protective custody, it's the one place a bodyguard never seems to enter.

Then we see a one being smashed to pieces and a load of naked men running out, later on in the movie.

We also see Bond sat on the crapper in Diamonds Are Forever. He hangs out in toilets a surprising amount for a big manly action hero.
Well, at least he goes to the bathroom, unlike a certain other JB...

And lets not talk about the scene in which we see Red Grant leading the real Nash into the train station toilet in From Russia With Love.
Well it helps the "Grant is gay" theory.

It's better than another favorite cars, favorite Bond topic.

FLEMING (internal monologue): Ughhh... this damned plop, why won't it-- ARRRGGGHHH!!! Oh, I knew I shouldn't have kept my cigar lighted in here! The smell and the smoke are nauseating... ooh, now there's an idea... "The scent and smoke and sweat of a... something or other... are nauseating at three in the morning." Ha! Wait'll I tell Anne!

I think it's pretty bog-standard, myself.Just when I think we may run out of topics on CBn, here comes "Rest rooms in The Living Daylights." And it turns out to be interesting.
