The US.imdb site lists Lazenby's first film as Espionage in Tangiers, however several viewings of this film by Lazenby fans can find no trace of him.
We now think that this is an urban myth that Lazenby ever appeared. We are aware of some publicity that said "Look out George Lazenby' which means that it was a film to rival Bond. Howevert we think this has been inadvertently translated as 'Watch out FOR George Lazenby'.
Anyone else know wnaything about this?

Supposedly the only surviving prints have been cut by a third which included Lazenby's scenes. Don't know if this is true.

I thought Laz's first acting gig was OHMSS in '69.

No, imdb is incorrect.
To quote George Lazenby from 2005 when he was asked this specific question at Pinewood, "No, I never stepped in front of a camera before Bond"

Saw this information too about Laz and Espionage in Tangiers so I checked out the trailer I found on Youtube.com and I guess they thought it was Laz because the fellow who starred in the film had a bit of his (Laz) look but...they where wrong.
