Wasn't it Fleming's half-sister Amarylis Fleming who gets a mention in The Living Daylights? Bond recalls "Amarylis...somebody" or something like that.
Yes.Ian Fleming - The Living Daylights
Why in the hell did she have to choose the cello? There was something almost indecent in the idea of this bulbous, ungainly instrument between her splayed thighs. Of course Suggia had managed to look elegant, and so did that Amaryllis somebody. But they should invent a way for women to play the damned thing sidesaddle.
Thanks for confirming that, Mr*.
And the great passage from TLD also. Sexism and snobbery, two great Fleming elements.

As for cost, I'm a poor-man's collector so $50-$60 US would be about as high as I'd go.

I'm sort of hinting at a deal I'm in the middle of arranging with the people over at Glidrose. I may get a limited number (around 20) of the Ian Fleming books signed by the Fleming nieces. I had been thinking setting the price somewhere in the $30 price range. I don't want to make them unattainable to younger or "cheaper" collectors and I don't want to make a ton of money off of them.

I might buy one or two. Probably Casino Royale and maybe another if it seemed approriate for the nieces to sign. For example in Octopussy and The Living Daylights Fleming mention's his sister, if one was Fleming's nieces was the daugther of his sister, it would be worth considering. (I don't recall but it seem to have a trace memory that they were both daughters of Fleming's brother)

I have not updated my collection since the early 70's Pan paperback releases. The ones with photo montage of various items from the story.
Weren't those GREAT covers.
God I wish I'd bought them, but I (a poor student then) had just updated with the Pan covers with the girls on them.

Will they have special covers or anything else different?
No, they'll just be signed and numbered.
