Hi there friends.

I have seven UE DVDs: Live and Let Die , The Man with the Golden Gun, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World is not Enough. What should I buty next? I've seen all the films and I know how they are, so I'm
just intrested in the quality and Special Features Disc. I'm about to buy Diamonds Are Forever... is it a good choice that worths every penny or just a DVD with very few
intrasting extras as Live and Let Die or For Your Eyes Only? And after Diamonds Are Forever... should I buy Moonraker, The Living Daylights or any other else?

Thanks.

Diamonds Are Forever and The Living Daylights both have a pretty nice share of new special features (and Moonraker benefits as well since I always thought that was one of the more slightly "bare bones" Special Edition DVDs in terms of extras).

The full list of special features can be found HERE if that helps at all.

Thanks Qwerty.

Could you post some screen caps of the Diamonds Are Forever DVD, I just wanna see how the transfer is, because in that link there are very few.

I can't, but I'm several DVD websites will probably have a few. 007 Magazine Online also has a great article covering the Ultimate Edition DVDs.

But judging from what we were treated to when they first made that article available on the site, it's worth it.

DVD Times has some decent ones posted for all of the films. Not a ton but it may satisfy your curiosity. There was another great DVD review I saw with a lot more screen shots comparing the UE to the SE but I can't find a link to it. If I do, I'll PM it to you.

DAF has all the deleted scenes remastered in the correct aspect ratio in 16X9, plus some cool footage of the helicopter assault and the effects material. I enjoyed Michael Wilson's commentary.

BTW, I thought LALD had some very nice material - the additional bts documentary was filled with great stuff, and, hey, Roger Moore as James Bond in what was it, 1964? That wasn't worthwhile?

Moonraker is less memorable to me in terms of special features. There was, I recall, some nice interview material on there from the time of the film's release. You really got a sense of the series biting off more than even Bond could chew as if even Cubby Broccoli couldn't understand why Bond was so successful. At least that was the impression I got.

keep dancing,
Bonita

Why, oh why have they not released the 2 disc versions to buy in the U.S.?
They have single disc with no extras, but not the good stuff!

I don't want all the movies!
ARGH!!!
ok...much better now...
