After the success of CR, it seems that Parkour is on its way to becoming the new bullet-time, by showing up in all kinds of projects. I know it is used in these :

Live free or die hard
Chuck (tv show)
Punisher War Zone (in production, script review mentions a free running sequence)
Assassin's Creed (upcoming video game)

Have you seen, or heard of it being used anywhere else? (Yes I am aware of DISTRICT B-13)

This is something that I don't think I've seen on other forums that praise CR, the cutting edge aspect of CR. I don't know of anything other than what's been mentioned. I guess we could start a thread about trends started by CR too.

The big muscular baddie from Live Free and Die Hard used "free-running style" acrobatics, although it was more gymnastics than running. The guy that Willis fought in the tunnel air duct shaft thingy. But it was there, I remember thinking in the theater, "they just stole this from CR...."

Don't worry about not remembering, wasn't worth it. Waste of nine dollars.

That guy was played by Cyril Raffaelli, the star of District B-13.

There was a segment devoted to it on 60 Minutes here in Australia a few weeks ago and was pretty much just devoted to showing snippets from the Madagascar chase in Casino Royale along with an interview with S

I actually remember it being discussed on British TV a lot in 2003, and included Sebastian Foucan (Mollaka), who did a lot of free running for the BBC's indents.
