The Dutch Releases are:
Missie Silverfin (Silverfin)
Bloedkoorts (Bloodfever)
Gevaarlijk Spel (Double Or Die) due for release in March 2008.
I like Missie Silverfin the most.
The story of the young James Bond is told.
That is what i liked the most.
His history.
My list:
1. Missie Silverfin
2. Bloedkoorts.
What due other Dutch fans think about the subject?

For me, the drive with Manny the Girl was the highlight of the book. I thought it was funny and terrifying at the same time. One of my favorite moments in the series so far....and I found the Manny character's injury a bit odd and superfluous.

What?Did anyone ever noticed that there are 2 chapters with the number 18?
Manny the Girl and Change of Plan.
EDIT: I'll be damned! It's correct in the Table of Contents, but wrong in the book. That's awesome!
I'm going to ask Puffin about this. Wonder if they know about it?
Great find, Trempo.

I just checked. Not the actual chapter listing, zen, but where those two chapters begin--both have 18 as the number.

Is there already a UK paperback? I thought it will come out on Ian Fleming's birthday. It's in the UK paperback as well. Just looked.
Or do you mean the Open Market Edition?

Big or small doesn't really matter, the way errors increase value is if they were caught and corrected within the first print run. Firsts with the error will be far more desirable. But I suspect all the HG firsts have this error.I'm assuming this will be way too small an error to significantly increase the value.

Oh, I see what you're saying, zen. Does/has that often happened with Bond novels? Or do they more often just issue a correct second printing (as in the SilverFin with the 2005 date)?

It happened in Fleming's day. There are a handful of errors in the Fleming books that were corrected within the first print run. The errors are very small. A missing "t" on the word "shoot" in MR -- even a printers smudge (a "quad mark") in TSWLM. But these errors effect value. Interestingly, it's not always the error copies that become more desirable. It's whichever is more scarce.Big or small doesn't really matter, the way errors increase value is if they were caught and corrected within the first print run. BTW, I asked Puffin about this, but the HG editor wasn't in this week.

Nope, never heard back. Maybe I'll remind them next time we talk...or not. I don't want to overdue it, you know? I fear I could easily become a fanboy pest with things like this. They are busy folk.Did you already get an answer from the editor?BTW, I asked Puffin about this, but the HG editor wasn't in this week.
I have 4 copies of the HG hardcover and all have this error. My guess is this was not corrected in the first print run (and maybe not at all), which means it doesn't have any effect on the value.
