This 'UK Culture Chart' intrigues me. I've never heard of such a thing before. Does it suggest that whoever buys CASINO ROYALE or HAPPY FEET should be considered "cultured"?! Interesting stuff. Anyway, I will be looking to see how the future editions of the DVD fare in terms of sales. I feel that many felt short-changed by the lack of extras on the original disc.

It sounds like a pretty silly name. Still, it's cool to see Casino Royale did that well on DVD so far.

I'm glad CR is doing so well in all markets. it bodes well for the bond series. As for culture, well, Bond is cultured isn't he?

That is an enormous amount of dvds! Does that include Blue ray? Because they were shipping those free with PS3's for awhile.

I'll say Blu-ray is not included as there are separate sales figures for the high def formats. Not a big deal, though, as Blu-ray will be a very small amount of units sold in comparison to DVD. Interesting point on the PS3 giveaway as they will count in the sales figures for Blu-ray. Here is an interesting article on it. It is cool that Casino Royale does hold the distinction that it was the first high def disc to sell more than 100,000 units. That is an enormous amount of dvds! Does that include Blue ray? Because they were shipping those free with PS3's for awhile.
