Personally, I was getting tired of the films coming out every other summer. DAF and TMWTGG were big events for me (although LALD and TSWLM made my summers), so I was glad when GE was a Thanksgiving release. Now, however, I'm tired of Bond always arriving in the winter.
What I'd really like to see is a return to having alternate summer/winter releases (and by that I mean every eighteen months, although I suppose these days every two-and-ahalf years is the best you can hope for).
Is it time for Bond to return to the summer?

I'm for it. (As long as Christmas comes just once a year.)
It'd be very special to have Bond around during Christmas. The movies released that time of the year usually sucketh, so it would be a blessing to have 007 visit during the holiday season.
Perhaps one of our industry exports can chime in, though. Financially speaking I doubt that's one of the best times of the year to get the most butts in seats.

Summer is way too busy for the movie industry. Winter is much calmer for a Bond release.
