Is there really any need for even more silly awards? And looking at the nominations, it's hardly like they've picked the cream of the crop.

Agreed. Hardly the best selection of nominees there. If Depp or Craig don't win then that would make these awards even more of a farce.

I don't know. Given it's (primarily) the British public voting, I wouldn't rule out Harry Potter sweeping the awards, particularly being so fresh in everyone's minds following the release of the new book and film.
(Oh, and I do agree that this is another rather pointless ITV production, but it is a touch refreshing to see a more mainstream and popular selection of nominations than the increasingly tiresome and predictable pictures Oscar gives the nod to.)

My god - Roger Moore is probably the greatest gentleman I've ever seen.

I feel so happy for the Bond franchise . Its about time it was given a lifetime achievment award. Shame Craig wasn't there! Didn't BBC News say that he attended
