Everyone knows the song "Shout" by Lulu.
It still appears on soundtracks to this day, but often sung by other people, but she was the first to do it. Plus she is a very nice lady, by all accounts, and still well-known in the UK.

I just watched "To Sir With Love" last night. Lulu is in that movie! And the classic title song...it's a Lulu song. I've always loved that song and I never knew it was Lulu. She's had her share of classics.
In 20 years it could people know who Lulu is before they recall the name Chris Cornell. Maybe mister "don't put my song on the soundtrack" should consider that before dissing our Lulu!

It is rather irritating to not have that song on the Casino Royale CD.

I empathized with him regarding his list until he mentioned Paul McCartney. A guy could do a hellova lot worse than to be musically associated with Paul McCartney in any way.
