One week and one day until I hit town. I will be needing a drink (or three) upon arrival!

I'll say we skip the overpriced mojitos this time around & stick with the overpriced gin or scotch instead.

Agreed.

They were tasty, but we'll call mojitos a breakfast drink - not something for evening consumption.

Man... Come Thursday, I will have to drink all those fresh Mojitos w/the fresh mint, all by my lonesome....

I wish you all well. I'm sorry I shan't be joining you... more than I can adequately express. *sigh* ... the things I do for crown and country....

You will be missed but not forgotten. We will be sure to get you some "real time" updates on the mission status.

We certainly will, darkpath.

In fact you may get phone calls from us about 2AM East Coast time hearing about the latest adventures Bryce and Felix have arranged for us :(

Quite all right. I'll be getting up at least by 4am to got to work anyway. Just don't wake my 7 month old.

OK crew - A few new updates and changes.

Felix and I spent a full day working out of Casa Bryce hammering out some details, but all has been resolved.

However, we haved moved....

*waits for gasps*

Just next door.

You'll have your same confirmation numbers, but we will be staying at the Venetian's new sister hotel, The Palazzo. This came about as we ran into a case of one hand not knowing what the other was doing between the two hotels even though they are one in the same.

I apologise for the switch, but, in many regards, this benefits us. The staff and people involved have been very generous and also very helpful as they (the hotel) have acknowledged that they screwed up on some initial matters.

Your rates and rooms shall remain as you have them and actually the suites are more modern and offer many more amenities than the Venetian and there will still be access to the Venetian and the gondolas and such. Their security is a bit more stringent as well - bottom line: don't go anywhere without your room key-card beyond the public areas.

So, you will be checking in at the Palazzo. They'll have all your info and you may get an email noting such, but we have been working hard to make this no big shift for all of you. Just a matter of where you check in.

It's been a headache for the crew, but we have it all resolved.

When you "Dare", you have to take one.

I cannot again express the diligence of Felix on a majority of this. Even for a yank.

See you all in less than a week, but the schedule is going to be full on arrival day and it may go late.

Cheers all and don't hesitate to hit me with a PM, e-mail or your fists (not likely on the last one I'm hoping  )

From LA with Love, Bryce and the rest of Axworthy's 13.

P.S. Check out the "new" place.

Everyone has been brought up to speed Zen. C'mon, give us a little credit.

Anyone that has checked this thread is up to speed, no messages from HQ went out about the change.

I need a little more intel - I know what to pack for Saturday night obviously, as well as the gun range and 'license to spill'. As I've never eaten with Gypsies, what is the dresscode when dining with Kerim's friends - suit, something made from flour sacks, or in-between? I also need a clue for the Orient Express on Saturday morning.

The difference between indoors and out in Las Vegas this time of year is close to 50 degrees, so I need a little help!

Final details for the crew have been flying back and forth and I'll be in Vegas by noon tomorrow making all the rounds before the first attendee's and the crew arrive on Wednesday.

Felix - I'm waiting on Miss Sterling's flight info and should have it to you any minute.

DO7 - Per your above request, dinner with Kerim's friends is sort of business casual. I plan a suit but not likely a tie myself. Saturday you'll be out and about in casual threads and it's going to be 100 or more everyday. So remember: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
