Does anyone know anything about the book "On Set With James Bond". Yet to be published. It sounds quite interesting, but Amazon has no details.

Yeah, I saw this listed too - at 15 quid. The TWINE companion sold at the same price so I doubt we'll get lots of nice photo's =(

I also noticed the title of the book ends eith "(PB)" - indicating Pierce Brosnan. Is this the first confirmation that he is definitely doing bond 20?

James,

isn't there a press release about Aston Martin saying

"Pierce Brosnan will make his fourth appearance as James Bond in the film, which will be directed by Lee Tamahori (Along Came a Spider, The Edge) and written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Production will begin at Pinewood Studios in January, 2002.

Regards,
Tim

I'd say the (PB) indicates the book is a PaperBack.

Good point Tim!

Personally, it's only until filming commences with the entire cast and contracts set in stone that I settle in to the hype.

Yes, it is a paperback... But the PB after "James Bond" lead me to believe that it indicated Pierce. ?

Anyway, here's the full SP from Amazon:

Wow I must have made some find. I didn't think anyone would reply.

I guess it would be a Bond 20 book, especialyl looking at some of his previous finds.

Time to do some more digging :)

I think you may have stumbled on a scoop here, Blue Eyes. The release date shows as Nov. 8, 2002. Could this be the "Making of" Bond 20 book? It sure looks like it.

The cool thing is the author, Greg Williams, is a photographer (check his other books). I expect this may be a book of high-quality photos from the set of Bond 20.

Looks like they've changed the title of this book to BOND ON SET.

An interesting name change. I wonder if it reflects a change in the style of the book. Perhaps it's now more centred around Bond? Maybe a tad like Roger Moore's LALD diary?
