This is truly a "lost" Bond novel. After Fleming, but before Amis, Glidrose contracted author Geoffrey Jenkins to write a Bond novel based on an outline he developed w/ Fleming. The plot involved Bond in the world of South African diamond smuggling as was called "Per Fine Ounce." Apparently this book WAS written, but for whatever reason Gildrose choose not to publish it. Man, I would LOVE to read this book!

That's an idea. Sounds like an assignment is in store

Can we not contact Gildrose and ask them about it?

Another lost Bond novel. I wonder where in the world they are kept. I've actually heard of this one - but I didn't know any details.

Sounds a bit like Diamonds Are Forever to me. Does anyone else know anything about it other than its name?
