As we await for DAD to arrive, what does everybody consider the best adaptation of a Bond screenplay to novel form?
They include:
The Spy Who Loved Me by Chrisopher Wood
Moonraker by Wood
Licence To Kill by John Gardner
GoldenEye by Gardner
Tomorrow Never Dies by Raymond Benson
The World Is Not Enough by Benson
I've got all these in my collection, but I have to confess I have only read the Woods, and even that was back in the '80s in my school days. I do want to eventually read the others. Any suggestions on order I should read them in when I get the time?

My favourite has to be Benson's TND simply because of the brilliant backstory Benson created.

Thunderball seemed to be on the money. Almost all of the novels elements are referred to or depicted in the film.

I'm with Blue Eyes. The novelisation of TND is probably Benson's best so far, TWINE was okay, but TND was smoother with an excellent back story created. I also quite enjoyed Gardner's Goldeneye.
