I'm looking to make a compilation CD for a friend with some of the most memorable tracks from each Bond film, preferably one from each, because I want it to span no more than two discs. Here are some ideas I have so far:

Moonraker -- Ms. Goodhead Meets Bond. I found a track called Moonraker Overture which is not on the Soundtrack. Very beautiful.

A View To A Kill -- Wine With Stacy/He's Dangerous/Airship to Silicon Valley
The Living Daylight's -- Hercules Takes Off/ Kara Meets Bond
GoldenEye -- GoldenEye Overture/ That's What Keeps You Alone
Tomorrow Never Dies -- Paris and Bond (The strong romance they shared comes across in this cue)/Backseat Driver

i reckon there is such a soundtrack but maybe it was never released majorily or something.. like those all seem like appropriate titles for tracks, perhaps the western world never got it? anyone else know anything about it?

That's a great find!

I don't know if it was the the music with jaws in that scene (I will have to watch the movie again) but it's great music to bad it's not on the remastered CD. I was just looking for some Bond music put Moonraker in the search and it gave me the Moonraker Overture.

I don't see how. The reason that MR was not expanded for the re-releases a few years back was that most of the music is lost.

Why not count the original Royale in this list? That had some memorable tunes...

For me, it's a tie - the damned catchy theme song (Will Forte agrees!), and the song during the ending brawl. I think it's called "The Big Cowboys and Indians Fight" or something.

I'd really like to have the expanded scores for the Roger Moore ones listed here.

In A View To A Kill, there's a bit of the James Bond theme played like in Thunderball, during the fight at Stacy's house. Also during the horse race when Bond is racing in the woods? That cue is AWESOME!

those need to be released on an expanded version of the soundtrack for A View To A Kill.
