The history channel will talk the of the possible origins of James Bond in Friday's edition of 'This Week In History'. Here is what the guide listing says:

Who si the man who served as the inspiration for 007? I've heard of at least 10 of them. The one who sticks out is an Australia pilot in the RAF who flew reconassaince over Germany.
