In FRWL, do you have any idea why the producers chose Lotte Lenya to play Rosa Klebb?
Because with Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasance only), she is the most frightening villain of all times.
Do you agree?

Well it was interesting casting. I say this because I'm told that Lotte Lenya was one of the most kindhearted women you could ever meet. You'd never picture her in such a role, and yet she played it perfectly.

This was a great bit of casting against type. Before FRWL, Lotte Lenya was a musical theater star, and a lot of people considered her too glamorous and sympathetic to play Klebb. Proved 'em wrong, didn't she?

Actually, what annoys me is when someone creates a "worst Bond girl" thread and people reply with Rosa Klebb, Irma Bunt, and Miss Brink. They're not Bond girls, darn it all!!
