I have read that John Barry's OHMSS score was the first movie score ever to use a synthesizer. Is this true or is it an exaggeration? Perhaps there was some obscure movie made before it that used synthesizer music. Or is it true? Moog's synthesizer only came out a few years earlier.
Was OHMSS the first movie with synthesizer music?

It was first used in commercial recordings in 1967 and the first public performance of a synthesizer was 8 days after OHMSS' release. So if he wasn't the first he was pretty close.
