Do I remember right, that Pearson did ignore Amis' Colonel Sun in the book? Wonder why.
No, Pearson mentions Colonel Sun.
Presumably, in Pearson's world, Amis was enlisted by MI6 to keep up the rouse regarding Bond that forms the concept of the "Authorised Biography"
