Was a cool surprise to see her in the trailer for this one a few weeks ago.

For fans of Rosamund Pike, she'll be appearing in the upcoming thriller Fracture, which also stars Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling.

The trailer looks great. I hope the film has an R-rating. I'd love to see...er, more, of Roz.

It is - for "language and some violent content."

Ah! Lovely , Rosamund was the best thing about Die Another Day I cant wait to see her in this one.
I don't exactly agree with this assessment, but I thought she was still pretty good.

Well judging from the trailer, it does feature a scene of...that nature.

I was reading a few early reviews of the film (all giving it positive marks) and one made note of an odd edit that either cut down or removed such a sex scene.

I also remember one time when I was thinking over a potential cast for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie how she'd make a great Naomi Hunter...

Have you seen it yet, Qwerty? Is it worth full price in the cinema or should I wait for the DVD?

Its watchable enough. Its the kind of film where your enjoyment of it depends on how much you like the actors.

No. I broke my toe this weekend, so I couldn't head out on opening night to see it. I'm going to try and catch it in the next few days.
Sorry to read that. Let us know how you're recovering.

I heard that the movie is already considered a bomb on its opening weekend.
If Americans don't turn up in droves to see a movie, that's usually a sign that its something worth watching.

Is this supposed to be funny?

No problem We Moonraker defenders got to look out for each other.

It's a bit of a crunch for horror/thriller movies right now in the US. There's Disturbia, Perfect Stranger, Vacancy, and Fracture that opened on two back to back weekends.
I think I read that Fracture opened at #2.
What other film opened at #2? Let me see. What was it called? Oh, yeah. Casino Royale. There was another one. What was it called? Oh, yeah. Tomorrow Never Dies. Yep. Once a film opens at #2 it's sure to be a flop.

As for Pike, she looks very, very fine indeed (to the point where, by comparison, she looks positively frumpy in DIE ANOTHER DAY [!]), and gives a good performance in a role one suspects was conceived for Nicole Kidman.
Not surprised this picture has bombed, if indeed it has. No action scenes, no humour, very little titillation, and (despite possible appearances and marketing strategies) it's no SILENCE OF THE LAMBS-type suspenser, either. You could do a lot worse, though.

So, basically you're saying that Americans do not have taste when it comes to movies. If this is true, are you saying ALL Americans don't have taste? Do you know anything about the cultural tastes of EACH American in existence?
