There's a brand-new (April 2007) interview with Raymond Benson available at Paradigm, the free quarterly online journal released through Rain Farm Press (http://paradigm.therainfarm.com). It is located under their Fiction section!

I always thought IFP made Benson make the literary Bond more cinematic.

That said, I was surprised to see that he did *not* find an established franchise limiting as I should have thought this would lead to inevitable restrictions on what one can do. Still, interesting thoughts.
