This bit on the CBn front page about Pinewood vs. Prague's Barrandov Studios has me a little concerned, though.

Since Bond 22 is a direct sequel to Casino Royale i would say that the producers already had location ideas in mind and probably did most of the scouting while filming Casino Royale.
I would like to think that the PTS for Bond 22 will start where CR left off.
And if they were happy filming in Prague, and they certainly made a successful movie there, then they would be tempted to go back for the next installment.

On that note, I hope the CR "sequel" has some bold "one off experimental" features that CR had, eg. black and white, bathroom gunbarrel, no Bond theme till the end, less refined Bond etc. I want Craig's tenture to stand out as the exciting and fresh series.

Hope so. I wouldn't quite like to see Bond as the finished article just yet.I think the idea of Bond 22 is that Bond has learned some things from his experiences in CR, but he is still rough around the edges.

But if we're jumping on the bandwagon, I say I always appreciate a Bond film set in Europe, The Carribean or the ultramodern bits of Eastern Asia. I'd love to see one in Africa or Greece, but there are certain places where Bond just doesn't feel like Bond (Midwest America/Australian Outback/Scottish Highlands/Arabian Oilfields).

It's nice and sunny there, and there are mafia types for him to deal with.
