Here are some sound clips from 200.

he has a rather interesting style, but certainly not right for Bond. Of course, who's to say what he'd do for Bond?

Yeah, this guy has a horrible filmography. Thumbs down.
The next Bond composer needs to be someone who works on video games... that's where the creativity is these days. The talent too.

As long as he's available and willing I say stick with David Arnold. The score to CR was IMO his best and my favorite. That's just how I feel.

It seems to me that Casino Royale's score was excellent only because it was wrapped around Cornell's theme. The action/ suspense cue (dun-dun-dun-DUN!) when worked into the score sends shivers up my spine every time.
So I guess what I'm saying is, a strong and powerful theme that can be referenced later in the film is far more important than who scores the movie.

I agree with the original poster on this one. Have you heard Tyler Bates score for the GET CARTER remake? His main theme re-working is superb - exactly what Daniel Craig could benefit from. Not that I'm up for ditching David Arnold who finally came of age with his Bond scores in CASINO ROYALE.
