Hi everyone, I hope there's someone who can answer this.
Okay, so on March 1 last year I bought Ad-Aware SE Plus with one year's maintenance. However, when I've come to think about it recently, I don't remember what the one year maintenance actually entails.
My question is this: come March 1, will I still be able to use Ad-Aware SE Plus and continue downloading the definition files, or is the maintenance like a subscription and therefore something I'll have to renew?
If the latter is the case, should I renew or, if I decide I don't want to renew, would I be able to just remove SE Plus and perhaps just get SE Personal (the freeware version) instead?

Why don't you ask this question in their forums??

Why did you buy it. Adaware SE is free and every time I use it, I am offered definition updates.

Simon, I did actually e-mail them to ask about this (and I actually received a reply eariler). Sorry if I've violated any board rules, but I was wondering if anyone here used it. (Plus, I can't remember what my password for the forum was and although I requested they e-mail the password, I heard nothing from them.)
And trs007, I bought SE Plus because of the Ad-Watch thingy (see how technical-minded I am?) to stop pop-up windows.
Anyway, I've found out that the program'll work just fine once the maintenance expires and I'll still be able to use the defs files, but I won't be able to use Customer Support or update or upgrade the program. But I'm not all that bothered about updates or upgrades, so long as the program still works.
