He seems such a nice down to earth guy, always loved him as Bond and it's great through Daniel Craig's performance that he's starting to get some praise for his tenure as 007.
Kudos to Simon Pegg & Edgar Wright for casting Tim in the role, he looks like he had a ball doing it, can't wait to see it, unfortunately I have to wait till next Wednesday, hope everyone enjoys it as well, Shaun was genius.

I was overjoyed seeing that big smile on Tim's face when he said what a great film CR is.
He seems genuinely happy that the series is heading back in the direction that he took it in, in 89.
And the host, for once, was quite informed about Dalton's tenure and how his Bond paved the way for Craig.
Wonderful stuff.

dalton truly is a great guy

I hope to see more of Mr. Dalton too, he's a cracking guy!

Not only do I remember it, I clearly recall seeing it and suddenly thinking 'that man was born to play Bond'. Although I'd been aware of him previously in his period roles. He is one of our greats, to be sure.

I agree. It is amazing how this man seems to have a timeless look about him. He doesnt seem to age at all really.
You know I never noticed that till then. Like full on, he doesnt look like he's aged at all since LTK. Unlike poor Rog and Sean who got the beating of their lives by father Time.

Anyone remember Flash Gordon?!
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright did. Apparently they were more excited at having Prince Barin in their midst than James Bond!

Loved this interview ( and the BBC Breakfast one). Thought Tim was terrific. It was fabulous to hear him talk so enthusiastically and genuinely about Craig and CR as well. It was a shame the interview had to end when it did.

As much as I admire Craig, Dalton's still my James Bond.

I just wish that he could have gotten more roles over the last 10-12 years.
I love how he is such a class act when it comes to talking about Casino Royale and Daniel Craig.

I can't wait to see Hot Fuzz.
I've seen very few non-Bond movies with Dalton, but this one looks quite fun. I'm looking forward to it as well.

Very good actor and seems like a nice guy. And a nice bonus with him supporting Man City.
Maybe he can pry Shaun Wright-Philips from Chelski. Y'all need help on the wings.

For real though. Before Craig appeared on David Letterman, Dave held up a photo of each actor who played Bond (sans Nelson or Niven). Dalton got a nice response. History will be kind to Dalton's tenure as 007.
I say again that Dalton's biggest sin was that he wasn't Pierce Brosnan back in 1986. That's who folks wanted & Dalton suffered as a result.

They wante PB as a result of Remenington Steele. A show nobody remembers any more. For good reason.
