Questions about the script...

Any script reader could tell me...
1- How did Bond intercept Fisher in the bathroom? (Maybe that happens in the Crickett Camp sequence)
2- How was originally the Main Title sequence? (The LatinoReview script review claimed that we see photos from Bond's CV and that the sequence ended with crime scene photos of the bodies of Dryden and Fisher)
3- Any explanation of a deleted shot seen in the trailer, a close up of Bond in the Venitian House with a sparkling behind him?
Thanks a lot.

Hi 00s,
Any script reader could tell me...
1- How did Bond intercept Fisher in the bathroom? (Maybe that happens in the Crickett Camp sequence)
Bond was, to my memory, originally seen as a shadowed viewer of the cricket match, when he sees Fisher moving, he follows him, through to the bathroom. (and if you look closely in the scene, above the sinks are pictures of criketers)
This is correct, they had photos of past missions.2- How was originally the Main Title sequence? (The LatinoReview script review claimed that we see photos from Bond's CV and that the sequence ended with crime scene photos of the bodies of Dryden and Fisher)
not sure what your describing here, so can't help there, sorry.3- Any explanation of a deleted shot seen in the trailer, a close up of Bond in the Venitian House with a sparkling behind him?
Any time.Thanks a lot.

I send you the image of question 3...
In the original pre credits... do we see the fight between Bond and Fisher intercut with Bond and fisher dialogue ?
So the "00" gettig stamped in Bond's ID Card got replaced by the "James Bond 007 status confirmed" on the PC Monitor.

Yes, the "007 Status Confirmed" replaced the entire concept of the title sequence showing the process of confirmation of Bond's promotion.
Not entirely whereabouts in the Venice finale that shot would have come, but it was certainly cut. A shame I thought; it was one of my favourite shots from the trailer.

Yes. Bond is observing Fisher in the crowd at the cricket match, then spots him move away into the pavilion. He follows him through the building, and into the bathroom. So Bond enters to the Bathroom and attacks Fisher without saying a word to him ?

A script reader told me that there was a paragraph explaining who they are.
As far as I know, Dryden is a corrupt chief of section selling secrets, and Fisher is his henchman. Maybe Fisher did the dirty work (i.e. Killing people), and Dryden just robbed secrets. Any mor info?
Thanks

I think one version ended with "The b*tch is dead", as the novel. Was the original ending in a hotel room with Vesper taking pills as in Fleming's masterpiece ???

I read that in a scene Bond finds it in Mollaka's body, but I've seen a pic of Le Chiffre giving a 5 of spades ripped in two to Dimitrios.

-Why did 007 originally trow overboard the Sony Vaio? Did someone cancelled the Interner service?
-Is there any dialogue in the Bond & Vesper naked swim scene?

Yeah those were two different playing cards. Bond found one in Mollaka's wallet in Madagascar after he had killed him. The other was ripped by Le Chiffre, and given to Dimitrios in the scene on Le Chiffre's yacht in the Bahamas. I can't remember what happpened to the other half of it though; I think that Carlos ended up with a torn playing card as well.
I thought it was a very clever way of doing things. The bad guy would say where he would want to pick up the money and Le Chiffre would send his ripped half of the card to the money pick up point.
When the bad guy got there with his half of the card, they would join the ripped cards, proving he was who he said he was (bloody hard to forge an exact rip). It gives a better explanation of how they would pick up the money in a different country ect.

-Is Valenka's swim longer?
-Why did 007 originally trow overboard the Sony Vaio? Did someone cancelled the Interner service?

Actually Valenka's swim is not in the leaked script draft. It cuts straight from the end of the Madagascar sequence to Le Chiffre's yatch and the poker game on board.
In the script it never states why Bond throws the laptop in the water. Perhaps he is overcome with emotion from seeing the pictures of him and Vesper or maybe it's becuase the jobs done and he has no further use for it. In the script the sequence doesn't take place in Venice but at the bay where he and Vesper did their swim. I actually liked the setting in the script more. It was in the bay at dusk with the sun setting in the background. I have theory why that throwing the laptop overboard was cut from the final film. You remember how Eva said that she may return in a webcam video in Bond 22? Perhaps there's something a hidden file on the laptop. Since we don't see him toss it in the drink it's possible he packed up in it's case which is still present after the laptop dissappears in the film.
There is some dialogue from the cut swim sequence, both before and after they are in the water. James carries Vesper on the yatch, both of them nude but you can't see anything because of the way he's holding her.
Vesper: No. No, that's not going to happen. James, I'm serious. This is my serious face. Do you see it? You're good at reading people, what does this face say?
James: It says I know I'm saying don't drop me in the water but don't believe me for a second.
Bond throws her overboard and dives in after her and the in the water.
Vesper: So, tell me MI6 is going to give you a well deserved vaction, and we can float around the world.
Bond: I like this yatch thing.
Vesper: Yes, it's you.
Bond: You think?
Vesper: secluded bay, clear water, naked woman, very much you.
Bond: (looks around considering it) huh.
The sequence then continues like in the final film.

Thanks, Agent Spriggan...

No Problem!

As for the pics, it's not like FRWL. It's just various pics taken by Vesper of her and Bond on their vaction.
