After seeing CR I thought maybe we should have a rotoscoped title sequence, like A Scanner Darkly. What do you think?

Technically, all the Bond title sequences up to and including Licence to Kill used rotoscoping in some form or another (Goldeneye onward used CGI to merge all the various elements-- naked women, explosions, floating guns, etc.) But if you mean you want it to have that animated, cel-shaded look...I donno. Feels too comic-booky. I'd like to see a return to form in the next title sequence. As much as I missed the naked and scantily clad women in the CR title sequence, it still felt very "Bondian" to me, and I thought the guys fighting and the roulette wheels turning into crosshairs were truly inspired.

I like it, definately different. Not sure Klienman would do something like that though...which is why I'd love to see another graphic artist take a crack at the title sequence.

I'll be interested to see whether Kleinman continues with the new style developed in the CASINO ROYALE titles, or whether that was simply a one-off. They were fresh, and I found them to work much better than I expected.

There's so much more that can be done with the titles than simply following the formula for the umpteenth time. Casino Royale showed us, and I'd love to see what else they'll do with it in future films.

I just hope Klienman doesnt return to his old style.

I liked the titles. But it's hardly the best. Goldeneye IMHO is still the best titles sequence ever. moody and well photographed. Perfect fit for the song. Sexy. dangerous. perfect. While CR was good it promises action and violence that the movie delivers. I like the fact that the lasy 2 films sort of changed the typical title sequence and how it's used.

CR was rotoscoped. It's the most rotoscoped one so far.

I love the idea Casino Royale 1123..., it's different but as we experienced with CR, 'different' pays off.
