Is it just me, or is Pierce's voice unusually high-pitched and awkward-sounding in the deleted scenes for TND and, to a lesser extent, TWINE? It definitely sounds like his Irish accent and roots are coming through when he speaks there. (I'm not saying I dislike Irish accents, it's just odd because that's not how I'm used to his voice sounding.) But it's odd, because in most of the other extras (like the documentaries and interviews), Pierce's voice sounds the same as it does in the movies.
Of course, actors altering the sound of their accents for a particular movie is nothing new. Just look at Daniel Craig, who adopted a totally American accent for Tomb Raider and a pretty convincing South African accent for Munich.
Anyway, has anyone else noticed this?
