I got the idea for this thread during my Criminology class...

James Bond: Construction isn't exactly my speciality.

M: Quite the opposite, in fact.

In the films, James Bond has destroyed a lot of property during his career at MI6. The object of this game is to come up with lawsuit names (Example: [BLANK] v. James Bond) where James Bond is being sued by a person or company for damage he caused during one of his missions. Don't post anything like Q Branch v. James Bond because MI6 can't sue one of their current employees. I realize that SIS or MI6 would be in the lawsuit name instead of James bond if he were sued in real life but this is a game.

You can post as many as you want. Please explain your title if you think it won't be understood.

I'll start:

The City of San Francisco v. James Bond (theft of a firetruck, assaulting a police officer)

Hong Kong Yacht Club v. James Bond (destruction of a closet mirror)

Sorry to be a nitpicker, but I don't think that was in the Hong Kong Yacht Club, but rather 'The Rubyeon Royale Hotel'...

Ooooh I lurve this thread, Righty007! Don't know how I missed it.
From your lips to God's ears!

Refining a previous idea from Blofeld's Cat.

Atlantic Merchant Shipping -v- 1) HMG UK 2)US Government 3) Stromberg Industries AG 4) James Nelson Bond

The largest class action ever bought concerned damage arising out of loss of life and property damage caused in the late 70's by a freak solar flare causing UK and USSR submarines to explode in the mid-Atlantic. The $4 trillion settlement was never paid by the Defendants who instead passed the debt on by way of indemnity to the families of Professor Markovitz and Dr Bechman whose actions were found to be the causal.
The settlement was never paid and the scientists' families are bankrupted for generations. The Attorney-General, not permitted to disclose the facts for another 889 years, commenting upon the Prof and Doctor's family's plight said, "Their funeral really was at sea."

I don't think this counts, but it's something I thought up anyway:

James Bond, et. al. v. Key West Police Department

007, the Churchill family, AND the Leiter family (hence the "et. al.") ALL sue the Key West Police Department for neglecting their lawful duty and not properly investigating the death of Della Churchill Leiter and near fatal injuries to Felix Leiter.
