Hey, I remember that a couple review beforehand made it a point to mention that Bond eats burnt toast in a scene, as if somehow this makes him more human and less of a superhero. Yet, when I watched the film, I don't quite remember a scene where Bond eats burnt toast. So, was it cut? And for those of you who have read the script, where about in the film would this scene have taken place?

Well, he eats toast after the poker game is over, but it didn't appear burnt to me...
(BTW, it seems to me that the 'burnt toast' comment may have been in the same alleged 'review' that claimed Vesper had dirty feet throughout the whole movie...)

Hmm that particular rumour seemed to pass me by. Anyway, there was no mention of it in the original script anyway. Would have seemed a bit bizarre to me, to be honest.

Most toast points served with caviar, which Bond is enjoying in the scene, are usually a bit over-done. It tends to balance the flavor of the caviar.
That's been my experience anyway.

I think it may have been when Bond jokingly says "well thats alright then" after Vesper says she was laughing at him during their meal after Bond has won the game. He sounds like his mouth is full.
I liked it, gave Bond that human element, and little moments like that made Craig's Bond so much more charismatic.
