Awesome! Daniel Craig and everybody invovled in the production deserved this. :)

I wonder what Deanna Brayton is going to say now. :P

I'll always remember Deanna as one of those women we're doomed to remember as one of those women but which.

...And thank you for a successful boycott.

Hahaha.

Quite. Good job sexykitn, wherever you are. Peeves Brosernawn is thankful for your support.

Your endless inability to spell Brozzayawn really is beyond me.

Well done EON, but this is no suprise to me. I predicted this would happen months ago, when boycotters were still in double figures, spouting out the usual drivel.

Now I bet it must be just Deanna on her own little island, with no friends, only a sea full of enemies.....

Then let us all forget about her and move on. :)

As long as the many people on this site continue their badmouthing of Brosnan, then the other site is going to still do its thing against Craig. This stupid fanboy crap is never gonna stop

Don't kid yourself. Those silly [censored] over on CnB (all 3 of them) will continue bitching about Craig even if no one bothers slagging off Brozza anymore.

I'm afraid no one has informed them that the war is over. Craig and EON won, they lost. But the saddos will keep on battling on, Japanese WWII style, not realising VE Day has been and gone (Victory for EON).

Just shows what little intelligence and brain activity occurs in their tiny little minds....

So if we continue to insult Brosnan, Bond 22 will suffer a crippling boycott as well?

And can't Brosnan fans and Craig fans just get along?

But, that is nothing new.

Back in the 1970s and 1980s a lot of Connery's fans were badmouthing Roger Moore. Then when Timothy Dalton came along a lot of Roger Moore fans were badmouthing him. In the mid-1990s a lot of Dalton fans badmouthed Pierce Brosnan.

So here we are in 2006 and some Brosnan fans are badmouthing Craig. It's all par for the course.

Well done Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson! I believe this is the first time that the series has reverted back to the serious, gritty Bond and still outgrossed the previous film (remember OHMSS, FYEO and LTK?).

Yes, and many posters here were using OHMSS, FYEO and LTK as proof that CR would definitely do a lot worse at the box office. Once again, William Goldman is proved right: "Nobody knows anything".

As a side note, at the cinema where I work the afternoon and evening shows of CR were sold out today.

Great news to hear it's still selling out despite being out for over a month. :)

That should certainly put nice big smiles on their faces as they start up their round table talks for Bond 22. And that should make a huge difference in how the next film goes.

I'm afraid I find it very hard to care how much CR earns or in which part of the world it earns it, except for the effect it has on future Bond film productions, but I think we can safely say that current BO statistics show that CR is on the right track and hopefully that will mean we get more of the same next time.
