These codes now work again. Sorry for the outage. The new behind the scenes working of these now use no hacks to the forums software which means we should not have these break everytime we upgrade the forum software and we should not have to figure out how to add them back in with every change in the software’s inner workings. (fingers crossed.)

Also I’ve added some new codes (mostly for books) and I’ve made it so { ... } works for the book codes now. So {fss} now comes out as For Special Services so it should save a load of typing.

Since there are so many codes I’ll repost them again here so you don't have to go back to page 1 of this thread.

] ... [/film]
-- or --
[f] ... [/f]
-- or --
[ ... ]

If a Bond film's acronym is entered between
][/2] and [/film] the forum will spell out the film's title, bold the title, and make it a link to CBn's section about that film. There should be no spaces before or after the acronym.

The [f] ... [/f] tag behaves identically to the
] ... [[/2]/film] tag.

The [ ... ] tag behaves identically to the
] ... [[/2]/film] tag.

EXAMPLES:
[film]dad[/film] will appear in the forums as
Die Another Day.

Acronyms for the short stories will be displayed in double-quotes rather than italics. (The acronyms for the short stories
“For Your Eyes Only” and “Octopussy” require an asterisk after them to distiquish them from the title of the entire book.)
