I have one myself and it is a nice addition to any Fleming collection.

I have the Pan edition, but I bought it used and it didn't come with the letter.
My first copy of this specific book came like that as well. I got the letter seperately off eBay a while after.

Has anyone seen others on ebay? Is that price range typical?...

I went up to $60 on this auction.

It's reproduced in full on a page in "James Bond The Man and His World."
An interesting marketing gimmick, but it's not like it was Fleming's writing or anything.

Went for more than I was willing to pay...

I seem to remember getting mine much cheaper on there (earlier this year).
I used to think these would never be found on eBay, but they're actually more common than I thought.

What is "James Bond The Man and His World"? I don't believe I've heard of this item before.I don't have one either.
