In the begging bond is shot and through the rest of the movie he is shown having illusions in a hospital and in the end it shows him about to kill M because he belives he's having an illusion and in the end he wakes up and is just getting in the hospital making it look like he drempt the whole thing. I know it sounds like an episode from House.
What about a flashback?

If I understand correctly what you are suggesting, that wouldn't really be a flashback. A flashback suggests that the events contained within it actually happened. I don't think that a Bond movie which turned out to be entirely a dream would be the most popular move!

Bobby Ewing meets TMWTGG (novel).
Me no likes.

Although, how about flashbacks to scenes that may have been cut from CR. Time spent with Vesper, or other things that wern't seen in CR but come from that mission.

That would be so much better than a recorded message from Vesper on a webcam as another topic suggested. :\

I like the idea of using that small plot idea from TMWTGG - but only if it's done seriously and not spoilt, maybe at the end of a film or something - to lead onto Bond 23 or so.

Can you explain more, so I can understand the idea?

Bond looses his memory whilst on a mission, and all he can find that relates to his past is the name of a city, he goes there and is captured by SMERSH, who brainwash him into thinking that their cause is right etc. they send him back to MI6 to kill M.
