Absolutely. Bond is only better for it to have emotions and fallability...and realitic action, and a freakin spy story...this is a Bond film in the Le Carre world. I love it. Great review. James Will Return is finally(I didn't give a damn last time I saw those words), great news!

I didn't even see it after DAD, I had already stormed out of the theater wondering how a movie with such promise at the beginning so thoroughly collapsed in on itself.
CR was a very different experience.

There are moments of explanation throughout the film that if one is not paying close attention you might lose the motivation of the characters (especially at the start of the film). This actually could have been easily remedied with more explanation throughout.
A great review, Ry!
The quote above describes something that wasn't a problem for me, rather a very strong positive. I really disike it when movies make it a point to "explain" the movie to me. I love it when subsequent viewings reveal some subtlety or nuance that I had missed before.
However, I can see how your point is very valid for the general audience who won't ever watch the film again. Since I'll be watching this one plenty of times for years to come, it's not a problem here...
