Gotta agree with you on that, PaulZ. Moonraker was the most aggressively promoted Bond film since Thunderball. Moonraker also had an enormous amount of tie-in material. It was treated as an event Bond picture (and certainly performed as such at the box office).Originally posted by PaulZ108
Moonraker had one of the best ad campaigns of the Moore era IMO.

But the Moore tuxedo/spacesuit teaser is one of the best posters of all the Bond films.

I've never seen the Moore pose on the DVD before, with him in a spacesuit, holding a gun (not a raygun) to his shoulder. I wonder when that would've been done as it's never appeared, to my knowledge anyway, in any other promotion of Moonraker?

It's quite possible that the image is a composite, made using a picture of Moore from another film and then 'pasted' onto the body etc...

Yes, I think so. This method is used heavily on the Connery video covers, as well, I think. Anyway, My favourites out of those are the Thai poster and the US one-sheet. The second style one-sheet is also quite nice.Originally posted by Blue Eyes

I have seen a pic of Moore in the full spacesuit. It's not from the movie, it's a publicity shot. If I can track it down I'll post it here.Originally posted by Blofeld's Cat
