Who else jumped out of their seat?

1 - When Le Chiffre goes to his hotel room and finds Valenka on the balcony, and they are attacked mid-kiss
2 - At the end, when Mr.White is shot
Anyone else? I NEVER usually react to 'shockers' like this in movies

At least the girl I was with jumped too. I usually end up looking quite pathetic when she sits there without reacting
The girl I was with didn't

Same here. The actors that portrayed those men that attacked Le Chiffre were also great.I jumped when Le Chiffre was attacked but not really when Mr. White was shot.

Yup both times for me too actually!! Although, I am in fact quite jumpy usually in movies. At least the girl I was with jumped too. I usually end up looking quite pathetic when she sits there without reacting
Hey at least you had a date. The first time I saw it I, and about half a dozen other guys in the theater, came alone.

Casino Royale made me 'jump' in my seat not once but TWICE!
1 - When Le Chiffre goes to his hotel room and finds Valenka on the balcony, and they are attacked mid-kiss
2 - At the end, when Mr.White is shot
I saw it twice yesterday, and jumped at both scenes each time, even though I knew what was coming. I don't know how they managed the exact but eccentric timing that catches you off guard, but it was superb. I felt the same way about Bond jumping between the cranes and tearing through the drywall at the construction site; shocking and utterly seamless.

Ditto with the second one. Mr. White had been talking about his organization, and I thought there'd at least be a clue to what that organization was before Bond took him out (I had a hunch that the group's name would be a 7 letter word for "ghost"). Not so much...

Yes, the first one got me big time. I felt like I was the only one who jumped though.

And, of course, my boyfriend and I were squirming in our chairs during the torture scene.
