I saw Casino Royale today. :) The first showing I could get to. Honestly, I didn't know quite what to expect. It is a new Bond, new direction, and the first one for me to see in theaters. The last time they changed Bonds, I was too young to care. :P I didn't expect this to be the best Bond film. I walked into the theater, a little nervous about what I was going to see. (I have to give a full report of it in my Social Studies on Monday.) I sat down, waiting for the previews to be over. The logos came on and I was scared. I watched the precredits sequence and I knew this would be a decent movie. While listening to the well known tune of Chris Cornell's, I hummed it. The two-and-a-half-hours went by like a blur. :) James Bond got a real makeover. He was tough, but at least you could make him bleed. He was arrogant, but you could tell this was a developing character. He was 007... [censored]
Vesper was complicated, but she was the kind of girl I was hoping for Bond. She was the kind of girl I wanted to see Bond lay. The rest of the characters were amazing. The dialouge was beatifully written. It was Flemimg, finaly. The music was top notch. The stunts were egde-of-your-seat exciting. When Bond finaly said the immortal words, "The name is Bond, James Bond," I smiled sadly. Daniel Craig had earned the right to say those words. This was as Bond was meant to be played, a guy who helps the world, but "at the same time says '[censored] You' to the world." :P It did what I thought it could never do, replaced Pirece Brosnan as the best James Bond since Connery, and replaced Goldeneye as my favorite movie of all time. 100% James Bond...

I didn't think it was time for this movie to come out when I saw it.

But once it was over... I knew the time was perfect.
