Great work Zencat! I take my hat off to you sir.

I have also been searching everywhere for these
"Revoked" concept posters but no one has ever come across them.
As you said they must be unique but even so where are they now?
Locked up in some MGM archive? They just look awesome. I would give big dollars for one of them.

Why did they actually drop this campaign? Was it financial problems?

There is also one more piece of art, which has not been mentioned.
Thats the art on the Licence to Kill UK promo flyer. It features
a sideways 3/4 body shot of Dalton, standing on his side,
wearing a tux and holding a pistol.

On the top left hand side is the writing "OUT FOR REVENGE" and underneath in smaller writing "glimpse beside the cool facade of 007 and see how sweet revenge can really be".

Perhaps someone can be kind enough to find it and post a graphic of it in this thread. Unfortunately i don't have it.

A truly terrible piece of artwork for a stinker of a Bond movie, if you want to even call it that. These days when TBS shows the Dalton Bonds, I try to be game and watch them, but they're so painfully bad I'd rather flip it over to TNN and watch Star Trek V The Final Frontier.

I just remembered that "Licence Revoked" had what I believe to be an officially used logo for the title as seen below.

The first version I saw on a commercial about winning a cameo in the next James Bond film, called "Licence Revoked".

This is a second slightly different version. I have only seen this in "007" magazine, which was published by the British fan club. This issue had plot details and many pictures for the upcoming film.

I prefer the shorter version, it seems more like a stamp. It would have made a really good graphic if it had the imperfections of a stamp and had been angled correctly. Like a 'revoked' stamp across Bond's licence to kill (if such a card did exist), or perhaps on his file!

I can remember buying the poster for LTK from my local theater in the summer of 89. It's a crappy poster nowadays and is quite ugly. There's no imagination to it, nothing that draws you in, nothing that makes you want to see the movie.

I believe this is the one you're talking about. This art was used on the back cover of a small screener program handed out in cinemas. I also have it in German and Spanish.

Check this out. I took this in Leicester Sq during the week of the premier. These billboards were all over the UK, but this "one color" campaign has now been lost to time.
