From looking at the incredible NightFire screenies, I have noticed that the pistol that Bond carries in some screens have ZERO resemblance to the PPK nor the P99? What is up?

I think they have to get the licensing for the image of a PPK or a P99, which can be pricey. Hence, they just leave it out of the game and give Bond another gun. But that's not to say they're doing that in NightFire, but it could be the reason why.

The gun used in EA Bond games is called the Wolfram P2K. It was used in TWINE 64, AUF and looks like it will be used in NF.

Yup, carver is right. They make the pistols similar to the film versions, but not totally alike. In GE64, the PPK was the PP7, and in TWINE, the P99 was the Wolfram P2K.

I realize that. But, that looks like a Browning HP or a Colt 1911. That will really be discouraging if we dont get the PP7 or the P2K

Oh, sorry. Well, seeing as how the game isn't actually based on a film, the type of gun used is just supposed to be specific to the game, and doesn't have to follow with the films. But I suppose that the gun should be a little like the film guns. Anyway, maybe the makers will do a few last-minute changes later on, like they did with GE64.
