Did these get mentioned yet? Two new positive reviews at AICN, both full of praise for the film, and Craig.

I wish positive reviews would stop using the quote "He's not Bond" to describe the fact that Craig brings something new to the role.

Yeah, if you take it out of context, but the review makes sense...the nutty website will probably post a link to this review and thus shoot themselves in the foot. Again.

I think from all the buzz I've heard so far, my biggest praise for the film will probably come from how much detail is paid to the characters in the film in regards to how they were portrayed in the novel. i.e. Le Chiffre still has his inhaler habit in the film. I don't think any of the Bond films translated from Fleming's source to the screen (with the possible exceptions of DN and FRWL) paid this much attention to the small details.

Friday Night, 3 Nov 2006, Odeon Theatre, Leicester Square, London: 1st screening of Casino Royale @ 144 minutes.
The Times, The Mirror, The Sun, The Telegraph, and The Daily Mail all report favorable reviews. The one descenting report coming from The Guardian.
Looks like "Bond is Back!"

The first industry trade paper review is in, and its glowing :

Or if you just want to cut to the chase :
"He has the panther-like grace of Sean Connery, fills a pair of swimming trunks amply and gives the kind of triumphant performance that will leave most audiences thinking Pierce who?"
It also mentions box office potential, and claims it could even beat MI2 ($546 million)?!
